KofC 9184 - Thanksgiving Meals Our Council has a long standing tradition where we purchase -and- deliver Thanksgiving meals to targeted groups of individuals in need. Each year, Knights and family members volunteer to deliver those meals on Thanksgiving day and we would like a list of those who will take time on Thanksgiving morning to continue our tradition. It requires, at the most, 2 hours of your time to meet at Bi-Lo, pick up the Thanksgiving meals and deliver them to the recipients. Please confirm that you can volunteer for this charitable event, by REPLYING to this email or contacting Bob Tonon, PGK at 234-7833. Meet at the Bi-Lo on Pelham Road near I-85 at 9 a.m. Thanksgiving morning.
If you know of someone
-or- a group of individuals that we should consider for a
Thanksgiving meal, you need to communicate that information by
this Friday, Nov. 11. You may respond to this
email -or- contact Bob Tonon at 234-7833.
So many of you have made generous
donations towards this charitable event and your contributions
have been truly appreciated. The hope is that you
will support our effort for another year. Any
contribution that you could afford will be gladly
accepted and appreciated. Your contribution can be made
to "Knights of Columbus-9184".
You are welcome to contact
our Grand Knight, Louis Beck at 268-4796 for any additional
details related to your contribution.

Posted Sept. 29, 2005 @ 1:54 a.m. Brother Knights and Family members,
A WHOLE LOT of THANKS to everyone who
contributed their time and donations towards the Gulf Coast Relief
Fund - Prince of Peace parishioners included !
With the proceeds from a recent
Wednesday night Parish dinner, our most recent Sunday
Breakfast Buffet, and other substantial donations, we have
forwarded an amount of $1,358 to KofC Supreme who will in turn
match that total donated amount.
Take time to visit Supreme's web-site
(www.KofC.org)
to learn how our Fraternal order has quickly responded to the
needs of those in the Gulf Coast region. It's a clear example
of CHARITY -and- UNITY.
Vivat Jesus!

REMINDER: We will be working on the Ranch Clean-Up project this coming Saturday, September 24th, starting at 7:30 a.m. We hope to work hard and clear as much area around the Ranch and along the sides of the Ranch for the outdoor classroom project as well as the upcoming POP Parish Picnic. Please bring any tools that may be useful such as rakes, shovels, hoe's, axes, pruning saws, etc. Ron Rossi will have a chain-saw, industrial blower and lawnmower. A few other lawnmowers would be useful to clear some of the higher grass areas. --This clean-up is long overdue and is step one in creating an outdoor classroom for the POP Catholic School. This outdoor classroom will only continue to strengthen the ties between Council 9184 and our school and our Church. We can not emphasis enough, the importance of this project for our council, the upcoming picnic on October 2nd, and ultimately the school which will benefit parish kids.
Please
contact Ron Rossi, Jr. at 244-4692 to let him know that you can
help.
Brother Knights and Family members,
Please include in your daily prayers Leah Shultz who is the cousin
of our Deputy Grand Knight, Greg Pirochta.
Be confident that through our collective prayers, Leah WILL
overcome -AND- recover from Hodgkin's disease. Greg and
Heike Pirochta thank everyone in advance for your prayers.
Vivat Jesus !

is the time to pick the events that you will be able to help with.

Please take a few minutes to complete the form and get it back to
Louis as soon as possible.
